It’s time for County Council Chair, Mike Cooper, to become a thinking member of our Snohomish County Council instead of his constant disagreement. For example, his outspoken words, “it’s ridiculous,” regarding the trip of Executive Reardon and Councilman Gossett to the United Arab Emirates (at no travel costs to the county). The trip is intended to promote our county aerospace manufacturing companies, and other trade-related companies within the county. Cooper’s stand is certainly not consistent with the union support he had shown in the past and promised during his campaign.
His continued criticism of the Executive is not the candidate I voted for. Come on, Mike, let’s start working toward solutions to our county concerns instead of your constant bickering.
