John Lovick created the Snohomish County ombudsman position to promote government transparency and accountability. John Koster now has the authority to investigate public complaints about county government and recommend efficiency improvements. And now Mr. Lovick would like to remove Mr. Koster form this position. Perhaps this is more transparency then Mr. Lovick would like? Are only union workers problems represented? Sounds to me like it would be a good idea to have men and women of different political persuasions, as long as they are ethical, truthful and honest to give everyone an advocate.
