In regard to the Jan. 23 article, “Mother claims negligence in daughter’s death”: It should have read “her negligence,” when the baby was born addicted to cocaine.
Now, after never having anything to do with the child after birth, she wants to profit from this tragedy. Put me on that jury; the only way I could remain objective would be if there was a pretrial stipulation that the plaintiff would not profit. I see this for just what it is, someone’s greed.
I side with Jack Webster’s letter to The Herald — Sirita’s mother was negligent and should be prosecuted!
