The spirit of giving is alive and well in Mountlake Terrace. The employees of the Mountlake Terrace Fire Department and Fire District 1 and their unions, Locals 1996 and 1997 of the International Association of Firefighters, teamed up to raise $3,400 to purchase 300 turkeys for the Mountlake Terrace Food Bank to distribute to low-income families. I would like to thank these employees for giving from their hearts to help those in need this holiday season.
