Nehring focused on jobs for north Snohomish County

I had a chance to talk to our current District 1 County Councilmember Nate Nehring a while back and came away quite impressed with his knowledge of the issues and the work he is doing to move Snohomish County and District 1 forward.

Nate has been knocking on doors throughout Marysville, Arlington, Stanwood, Granite Falls and Darrington to find out what priorities constituents want him to work on for them. When he came to my door, he told me that one of the common themes he has been hearing is jobs and especially jobs close to home so that traffic congestion can be avoided. To that end, he walked me through the work that he is partnering with other leaders in north county to bring family wage jobs to the area. Councilmember Nate Nehring is the kind of forward-thinking workhorse of a leader that we need.

I will do all I can to make sure stays on the Snohomish County Council in the upcoming election.
