When considering who I should cast my vote for, I always begin with taking a look at each candidate’s record on fiscal issues. I want to be sure that I am supporting candidates who do not waste my hard-earned taxpayer dollars and who share my belief that government ought to live within its means. I have found that candidate in the Snohomish County Council race: Nate Nehring. Nate currently serves on the County Council, and upon reviewing his record I am very impressed. Councilman Nehring voted to renovate the county courthouse as opposed to tearing it down and building a brand new one; this vote saved over $150 million for taxpayers like myself. It is not often that we can find elected officials like Nate who care so much about saving our dollars and reducing waste in government. Councilman Nehring’s record has earned my vote in this year’s primary election.
