I purchased my hybrid to save on gas and hopefully help the environment. So now the state want me to add $75 to my car tab cost after the last fiasco with the last huge tab increase for the transportation package which was based upon ancient data (“License fees rise for hybrid and electric cars in Washington,” The Herald, Oct. 7).
I don’t’ even use the electric charging facilities! When the hell is the state going to stop taxing anything and everything that moves or looks like it might move? You had a budget surplus this year and still had to raise taxes. Enough is enough already.
