Would that our lawmakers take a lesson from the National Football League. Knowing that failure to do so could be disastrous, owners and players have come to an agreement that will apparently save the upcoming season for both sides, as well as for we fans. Amazingly, this accord came about as a result of negotiations leading to compromise, a process having heretofore been known as the American way, as opposed to American greed, which sadly seems to have become the standard of the day.
Tea anyone?
