Congratulations Everett, you have moved into the “What’s happening” category. Over the weekend of Feb. 15 and 16 there were more people downtown attending a wide variety of events than ever before. We do have nightlife in Everett.
On behalf of the Snohomish Artist Guild I would like to thank all who attended our event: “Two Big Nights Out – Winter Music Festival.” Also a special hats off to the Everett police, fire and planning departments.
In addition to our event, the Everett Symphony was at the Civic Auditorium and the Everett Chorale was at the Everett Historic Theater.
These events combined to create a great weekend of entertainment. Nothing this big has happened before. I believe we are ready for the events center.
