Concerning the May 7 column written by William Raspberry titled “Ashcroft’s attack on virtual pornography goes too far”: I am at such a loss for words.
I can’t believe somebody actually thinks that any form of child porn is better for our rights. Any sort of pornography is deviant behavior, and child porn is so absolutely sick and twisted it should go without mention that it is unacceptable, anywhere. What ever happened to the decent folk that used to populate this country? The folk that believed if it was wrong then they wouldn’t do it. Oh, yeah, I remember, they stopped believing that there is someone to answer to. Yup, that’s it, no moral authority. I can do what I want because I am an American, I have rights.
Well, wake up. sleaze-balls. Read the Bill of Rights, nowhere does it say you have the right exploit little kids; it is wrong. That means you shouldn’t do it; and because there are people who choose to do it anyway, there should be a law that states that you do not have that right.
This should go without saying, but obviously some people are just too sick and twisted.
