I happen to live near the 152nd Street soccer fields in Marysville. It is fact that each summer brings with it longer days of soccer play – from sunrise to sundown. It also seems to get louder and more competitive in a sport that is supposed to promote teamwork and camaraderie. The coaches scream more at the players, the parents scream more at the coaches. All of this in plain view of the players.
The fans have become more intrusive into the easement between our yards and the fields with their shelters and the noise makers they bring along with them(air horns).
If the salespeople at the development would have been more up front about the noise, I would have never moved here. Now, how to sell it with the current activities.
Are there not some limitations to the capacity and noise level they produce? You can’t turn your car stereo up but they can turn up the noise they make.
