The Marysville council election is here. It is time for citizens of Marysville to decide who will best represent the needs of Marysville.
Citizens need to know about a group who call themselves “Concerned Citizens of Marysville.” What I heard from their voices was anger directed at Norma Jean Dierck, who has apparently gotten in the way of certain controllers of long-time council members. Marysville beware, we do not need to be controlled by this group 100 percent, which appears to be their goal.
Norma Jean has demonstrated her courage, openness and persistence in increasing mitigation fees for developers and in getting the council to buy property for a needed skatepark. She has worked to protect children and the environment. Vote for Norma Jean Dierck, a woman to be respected.
