Northshore School Board: Cast pulled students through pandemic

I am urging people to vote for Amy Cast for Northshore School Board in the upcoming election. During the pandemic, she leveraged every tool available to pull students up and through the evolving challenges. Returning her to the school board will allow her to continue this work.

The experience Amy has in this role benefited Northshore students in wide-reaching ways. She spent the pandemic problem-spotting and problem-solving for the students in Northshore, in response to rapidly changing scenarios. This included personally contacting pharmacies to find vaccine partners for teachers and students and successfully lobbying Olympia to make up for budget shortfalls. She also continued in her usual role in tracking and working to improve educational outcomes for all Northshore students.

As a parent, I’m grateful to have such an amazing advocate for students on the school board. We need her energy and expertise for the next four years!
