Why is Trump still in the White House? The answer to this question is horribly simple. He is a Republican, and the Republican Party is in the majority in the Senate by less than the number of fingers on one hand, and will not throw him out because he is a Republican, and party loyalty is more important to them than good governance.
The welfare of the nation, or from all I can conclude, even the continued existence of planet which he regularly threatens with every idiotic decision or thoughtless bloviating from his diseased and decidedly substandard brain-pan is nowhere on his radar.
If this is the product of the political structure of our country, I suggest that it might be time to make some carefully considered adjustments to that fine creation before it is too late. It was meant to be adjusted as evidenced by the Amendments that have come before this. Additionally, I would suggest that we make those amendments pronto.
Every day we edge closer and closer to the peril of a world war. With our current arsenal of weaponry there is little to no likelihood that the earth will weather that storm. It is all in the hands of the Republican members of the Senate now. They can you use their congressional power to grit their teeth and send him packing or face history as his enablers of in the ruination of the United States of America. Unless, of course, it brings us to the end of the whole world. In that case, forget what I just said.
