I read the Oct. 17 article about Bethany at Pacific and I do not agree with it at all. It made it sound like no one would ever want to go there.
I had my wife there for seven weeks on the third floor and she couldn’t have gotten any better care than she did there.
They had her on an air mattress so she would not get bed sores, they took her vitals very often and if her blood sugar was too high, they came right back with insulin. When she needed to be turned or bathed, there were always two aides there to do it, because she was paralyzed and couldn’t do it herself.
So why not give them credit some time instead of always saying something bad about them?
