I do not believe our economy can come out of this current recession when the price of oil is being kept artificially high by greedy traders on Wall Street. Why not let supply and demand dictate the market?
These traders are nothing more than gamblers making money off their reckless wagers and bets. If you want to gamble and wreck lives then go to Las Vegas. The trading of commodities needs to end … now.
Oil runs this country, whether we like to believe it or not. Until we develop another source of fuel this is a national security issue. As such, the president should take oil out of the playpen (Wall Street). These greedy babies should have to play with something else for a while.
Here’s an idea: Replace oil trading with garbage. Let them trade that up or down.
