The recent ruling in favor of Mark Olson’s probation has me concerned.
I wonder how two attorneys (Mr. Olson and his lawyer — whose job it is to look out for the best interest of their client/themselves) could convincingly claim Mr. Olson was given bad legal advice.
I’m wondering if they just found a clever way to skew the system in favor of Mr. Olson. I’m also wondering how the judge who ruled in favor of Mr. Olson could have believed such an incredible claim. I’m concerned about what other bad advice Mr. Olson has received and acted upon in his years on the City Council. I’m concerned about his ability to make sound decisions about our city when he can’t make good decisions on matters affecting him personally and professionally. I’m wondering why anyone should have confidence in his ability to continue on the City Council. I’m concerned about my safety next October when he can legally start drinking again. I’m wondering if anyone else is concerned.
