We strongly endorse Dave Orvis for Edmonds City Council because of his involvement in, and concern for, the community. On many occasions, not just during campaign season, we have seen him attending community get-togethers and walking through neighborhoods, making himself available to the citizens.
Kids this year will walk safely to and from school on what was the single most dangerous street in Edmonds. This is true because Dave was a supporter of this project early on and found a way to fund it.
Dave works quietly to make Edmonds a better place to live. He’s not out waving the flag, but he and his son both worked with a large group to remove graffiti recently. He doesn’t spend a lot of time claiming credit — he just works to get things done.
