Other councilmen know county better

I am so tired of County Councilman John Koster’s “I’m a good ol’ local boy” stance, and his cronies letter to the editor claiming “nobody knows North County” more than Koster. John Koster also claimed to know the Warm Beach area better than the other four council members after he took a vote to let the Warm Beach Senior Community build an architect-described, suburban-style development on rural land. Thankfully the rest of the council members don’t know Warm Beach as Koster thinks he does. Because they haven’t yet buddied up with all the good ol’ boys and could rule against the development based just on the fact that it was against all the codes of the county — and didn’t make sense!

If that’s Councilman Koster’s brand of “balanced and fair,” he can keep it. It’s been my experience that he’s compromising away the rights of his neighbors to protection from illegal land development.
