If the price we Americans currently pay for gasoline were anything like the prices I came across last week in Austria, I think we would find it more “convenient” to drive more fuel-efficient cars. The prices are in Euros per Liter. At the time the Euro stood at $1.25, so the multiplier is 4.7. Thus, a gallon of regular there is $6.72, super is $7.47, and diesel $6.44. Let’s count our blessing that our prices are still comparatively reasonable.
