Others should follow coach’s lead and refuse pay raise

How truly refreshing to read that University of Virginia men’s basketball Coach Tony Bennett was thinking of the staff and asked that a raise offered to him be used as compensation for his staff and program improvement.

We always read about the ridiculous salaries and bonuses that CEOs, politicians, professional athletes, etc. are given, and it is sickening. They should be sharing with the ones that work hard so that they can have so much, really who needs $32 million a year?

I loved the line that the coach said “I have more than enough.”

There are angels on earth; Coach Bennett and his wife are proof.

I challenge all the above who I named as overpaid to “share the wealth.” Haven’t you ever heard “you can’t take it with you?”
