I think it is outrageous that the mayor of Lynnwood could get a $20,000 a year raise when some employees of the city could lose their jobs, and businesses with lower revenues could get a tax increase. (News article, Nov. 10 “Lynnwood may plug budget hole with deep cuts.”)
With the economy the way it is, let the mayor give up something. Everyone else has had to.
