It was pleasure to read the story about the semi-pro football team, the Everett Royals (“Semi-pro football team pushes players to succeed off the field,” The Herald, March 6).
Owner and coach Mike Thomas is a great role model and community leader for young men needing to succeed in life. He took what was important in his life to straighten him out and is applying it to his team. I hope the community will support the Everett Royals. I plan on attending the games; hope that The Herald will publish their schedule.
