I am a resident of the West neighborhood (Avenue D to Avenue J between First Street and the high school) in the city of Snohomish.
At the Snohomish City Council Candidates’ Forum, held at the public library on Oct. 23, only Susan Palmer and Greg Osborne were adamant about preventing commercial zoning from encroaching west of Avenue D into our residential neighborhood, which consists of many historic homes. Melody Clemans and Lya Badgley, their opponents, were no-shows.
I urge the voters in the City of Snohomish to elect Susan Palmer and Greg Osborne on Tuesday. They are the most qualified candidates to represent the residents of the city, not special interests.
