In regard to the bad-mouthing of Snohomish County’s drug court, I know several people affiliated with this program – professionals and very successful graduates.
A person is in drug court because of choices they made. While they are in drug court, they are responsible for several things. They must attend meetings and take at least one urine analysis every week, among other things. If they don’t follow through then that is their choice, not anyone else’s.
Don’t blame those doing their jobs and helping those who want to make the right choices with their lives.
Don’t blame the judge and others who are doing a darn good job helping those who have the choice to be helped if they want it. The choices we have in life are ours alone.
