I am concerned about the priorities of the Snohomish County auditor in not mailing voter guides for the current primary election.
We live in a representative democracy and voting is one of the most important responsibilities of citizens. Primary elections have always had poor participation, especially in an off-year election. Any action that will decrease the participation of the voters should be avoided.
It seems that our elected officials are very good at spending tax dollars when times are good, but are unable to serve the majority of citizens when tax dollars are tight.
