The Everett Firefighters and Muscular Dystrophy Association would like to thank the public for its support for last week’s “Fill the Boot” fund-raising drive. We are pleased to report that more than $12,000 was raised from the contributions of many generous citizens.
During “Fill the Boot,” local firefighters across the country are out in the streets collecting donations from passing motorists. The money is in turn donated to the MDA during its national telethon this weekend. Everett firefighters Local 46 is proud to be associated with the MDA and its fight for a cure of neuromuscular diseases.
