On Tuesday, Dec. 13, my wife and I were having a snack at the Marysville Costco food court. We were talking to another couple at our table when a nice middle-aged gentleman noticed the veterans hat I was wearing. He came over and said he wanted to thank me for my service. He also said for my wife and I to have a merry Christmas and a good Christmas dinner. As he was leaving we shook hands and I ended up with a tightly folded bill. It was a $100 bill.
We want to thank this gentleman again. If he has a family, they should be very proud of him. We will have a good dinner and most of the $100 will go to the Disabled American Veterans.
