Thank you for printing the Monday letter, “Let’s give Obama more of a chance.” I couldn’t agree more. Our president needs our support, not our criticism. Yes, he has made mistakes and yes, he has caved all too easily to the Republicans and their tea party minority.
But the writer is right — we have a golden opportunity and patience is the key to rebuilding the mess we are in. Barack Obama has earned another four years of running our country and it’s time to get behind him. Let’s not let this unique opportunity slip away.
