Don’t get any ideas, American Airlines: Passengers aboard a Comtel Air flight from Indian to Britain that had made a stop in Vienna were told that they had to come up with $31,000 to continue their flight so that the plane could be refueled.
To be fair, the passengers were given a choice of paying for fuel or getting out and pushing once the plane was in the air.

Whatsamatta U: A Massachusetts man, now serving two years in prison after his conviction for running a pot-growing operation in Oregon, said he was selling marijuana so he could pay back $100,000 in student loans. A U.S. attorney said this was the first time he had heard of someone selling pot to pay a student debt.
Fellow attorneys pointed him in the direction of the nearest college.

Going hungry: A Bank of America branch in Portland, Ore., called police reporting that zombies were in the lobby causing a disturbance. Police arrested a 27-year-old “zombie” and booked him on disorderly conduct charges.
It obviously wasn’t a real zombie, because actual zombies know you won’t find any brains — or hearts — at the Bank of America.
