President Trump has issued two executive decisions placing a 90-day ban on entry into the country by individuals from a list of Middle East countries. Some in the media and among the punditry cry out about the “unconstitutionality” of the rulings. One hears “this is not who we are” and “we should allow all those fleeing oppression the right to enter the country.”
No one seems to be overly concerned about Islamic jihadists being included among these immigrants. The outrage seems to ignore the probability that no better opportunity exists then that afforded by unvetted individuals with evil intent.
There are people who cheer the judges who overrule President Trump. To them I say: My God, people, do you not follow what is happening in Europe? Have you not read about Berlin, Paris, Brussels, Nice, Marseilles, Sweden? People are being murdered, women are being raped and groped by some of these same “innocent” individuals.
These people are not trying to enter our country because they want their children to play on our Little League teams. For the most part, none of them have the educational background that would enable them to be assimilated into our culture nor do they have any intention of obtaining one. Their primary intent is to obtain welfare, food stamps and free housing. Eventually, as their communities grow, they will demand (and some already are) the substitution of Sharia law for our Constitution.
Recently, on “The View” two of the female panelists showed support for open borders and continuation of the court-related effort to block President Trump. I wondered what their reaction would be to be told they had to begin wearing a veil, or, even worse, a burqa.
There is a dangerous tide sweeping over Europe. We have a president who is attempting to stem that tide and some are casting stones at his efforts. We will pay a price for this.
