People willing to give up their land

John Brandt in his Monday letter, “Israel: People have good reason to be upset, presents upside down information. Just think, he derides the Israel offer of withdrawal from Gaza.

Doesn’t he realize that Gaza and the West Bank are parts of the Jewish ancestral home? The Jews have had a presence there for at least 3,500 years, or about 1,500 years before there was a Mohammed. Anybody not believing that should throw their Bible away.

Withdrawal from Gaza and the West Bank is really and truly generous when taking into consideration the Palestinian rejections of the land for peace offered by Israel.

The rest of Brandt’s letter is nothing but cock and bull with fairy tales presented as true information. Whether he realizes it or not, the Jews have survived all sorts of travail for thousands of years and we will survive the likes of John Brandt.
