If there were ever a population who might, in the face of public support for their cause, avoid litigation costly to taxpaying individuals, businesses and agencies of Washington government who have come through for them, it would be the victims of this terrible tragedy.
I believe that these dear suffering souls will be made whole best as possible by faith, fellowship, the kindness of family, friends, strangers, businesses, benefactors from across the world and government resources in place to help them now and in the future.
Perhaps great lasting good will come from their tragedy if it serves as a first of its kind example of how those affected by terrible fate do not seek to sue. I wish them well in every possible way and credit Susan Martin’s letter, “Quit trying to find blame” as inspiration for my thoughts.
