Perhaps the bills are arriving late

I have two comments regarding the April 29 article on Snohomish County PUD deposits (“PUD demands deposits from tardy bill payers”).

1) Why can’t the PUD take the deposits out of any Enron money it might get? A recent article reported that the PUD will not be refunding customers any money the PUD might get back for all the overcharges the customers paid during Enron’s pricing scandals.

2) Late payments? More and more I am seeing my PUD bill arrive with a due date of not more then seven days away. I’d say the PUD was late getting my bill to me.
