PETA was once an organization that you could take seriously. They made sure that animals were treated with respect and if they needed to be put down for food, it was done humanely. If animals were kept in poor conditions they let all the people know, and the pressure from the people would make the caretakers of these animals change their ways. Sometimes they would go overboard but the ends justified the means.
That was then. Now recently they have complained about throwing fish at Pike Place Market and upset at the president for killing a fly. They want flies trapped instead. What was once a good thing is now a joke. Too bad.
