My name is Eric Hurley and I have a request. I am a junior at Cascade High School and I normally have to wake up at 6 a.m. to get ready for the day. But most of the time after I get ready, I have a lot of time to kill before my ride comes to pick me up. During that waiting period, I pick up our daily edition of The Herald and thumb through the pages. But to my surprise, there was nothing about youth my age. I looked through the whole paper and could only find one article about sports at Lake Stevens High School.
What I want to read is a section of the newspaper dedicated to the teenagers. I want to hear where local concerts will be or what the latest fashions for the week are. So can you please help me out by informing the youth of what to do when they’re bored and clueless? I would appreciate it very much.
