Herald Sports
Please list TV schedule again
When The Herald first started its “no paper delivery” on Mondays I wrote to the sports editor, suggesting that The Herald add Monday’s TV sports listings in the weekend paper so we could view upcoming sports on TV. May I add that my suggestion was accepted.
Now, it seems The Herald has dropped that feature. May I request that this be readopted and may I also suggest that when holidays occur, and no paper is delivered (or put on the internet), that the sports on TV is included in the paper before the holiday with information through the next actual newspaper.
Added to this problem is many of don’t get our mail delivered until late in the day so we have no visibility of sporting events happening through that day either until our paper arrives or we search through the menu on our TV program provider. Back in “the good old days” The Herald was very good at providing the TV sports listings.
I would like to add that my parents started getting The Herald delivered to their house when we moved to the Everett area in 1957 and I continued with my own subscription when I returned from my military tour of duty in 1964 and have continued with it ever since.
