In response to the recent letter claiming the science of global warming is unsettled. I say, read the science!
Start with the recently published Overview from the Royal Society and the U.S. National Academy of Sciences that declares, “It is now more certain than ever, based on many lines of evidence, that humans are changing Earth’s climate…” Then read the recently published U.S. Climate Assessment that concludes, “The global warming of the past 50 years is primarily due to human activities.” Then read the fifth report from the International Panel on Climate Change that declares, with more than 95 percent certainty, “… that human influence has been the dominant cause of the observed warming since the mid-20th century.”
Read the science! Climate change is happening, it’s human caused and it poses a clear and present danger.
