Those attending tea parties that protest a new tax code and the enormous national debt make little sense. It’s like an obese child who had a dad that let them eat whatever they wished for years — and now that same kid is mad at a new dad for saying things have to change and, this is the crazy part, blame him for being so fat in the first place.
I’m sorry to compare these people to kids — but their tea party is less like the one that protested “taxation without representation” and more akin to the ones children like to have.
