Regarding the series of articles about Mylo Harvey:
Wow. I didn’t realize Scott North was such a brave, crusuading journalist around the city (albeit in the company of armed authorities).
It is indeed a tragedy when any young person dies. It would have been fair to include at least a paragraph on the trauma that police officers feel when this type of accident occurs. But then that doesn’t get the attention of the Pulitzer committee, now does it?
This is what I basically came away with from the series, which was only slightly less annoying than the coverage of our country’s participaioin in the Olympic Games, in a country with one of the worst human rights records on the planet: 1. Be an involved parent. 2. Be a strong individual, not a follower. 3. Stand up.
And hey! Maybe we could build a radio tower on top of the children’s theater and then everyone would be happy! Can you spell satire? Just say no.
