Please please people before you go mouthing off about things, check your facts (May 15 letter to the editor, “Obama organization’s efforts against our democracy”).
With A quick check in Wikipedia, I found that the group called Organizing for Action, was not “suddenly set up” by one of our former presidents. It was in fact started in January of 2013 by Jim Messina and several other individuals, which, yes, included Michelle Obama. It actually succeeds the original group called Organizing for America.
They are a non-profit group that work for gun violence prevention, climate change and LGBT issues, as well as immigration policies. This group was NOT created to disrupt the current president, since it was created way before he even got near the office.
These are actual facts. Look them up, people.
