Regarding the passage of Initiative 747: The people finally got the message across and what is the first thing out of the mouths of our elected officials? “We have to cut services!” Not one came up with something a little more creative or responsible such as, “Hmm, the people are telling us something. We better roll up our sleeves and find better ways to budget and govern without cutting services to and for the people.” I also noticed Bob Drewel didn’t suggest cutting their new salary increases. Surprise, surprise. Sigh.
