The race between Rob McKenna and Jay Inslee is a classic Republican and Democratic argument.
McKenna is resigned to the fact that things are set in order for the rich to get rich and the poor to stay poor. When asked about inevitable tax increases, McKenna said taxpayers would not tolerate them. While I heard Inslee say that taxes depend on the optimism of the American taxpayers.
When he made that statement I felt he understood the fact that circumstances can change for the better of all the American people when people try hard to make positive changes.
