The swimsuit worn by the late Farrah Fawcett in the iconic pinup poster of 1976 was donated Wednesday to the Smithsonian Institution.

Decor disease: The sheer quantity of interior design options available today can lead to a condition called “decision paralysis,” in which sufferers decide to just say the heck with it and stick with their beige rooms.
An even more serious malady is known as “That’s Gonna Look Hideously Tacky in Ten Years,” which ravaged many millions of homeowners in the 1970s with locust plagues of afghan blankets, fake-wood wall paneling and burnt-orange shag carpet.
Sing a song: Boeing put on a dog-and-pony show at the Everett plant Wednesday to roll out its 1,000th 767. The event included the performance of an upbeat jingle commissioned by Boeing to celebrate the milestone.
The company might also consider commissioning a dirge-like lament for the next 787 delay.
