I read the letters to The Herald frequently enough to know that feelings about our country’s political situation run very deep. The stronger the opinions are stated, the more offensive they are to the other side.
I don’t know where we can find common ground, but I suggest and I hope that all Americans, no matter what political persuasion, who believe in a just and virtuous God would take a few moments each day to pray for our country.
