Presidential race pundits, politicians so condescending

Charles Krauthammer’s June 10 column dealing with the inadequacy of the American electorate was amusing. (“Like the voters, Ryan had no good choice.”) There’s all this blah, blah, blah, about how party leaders are failing to provide a decent election. Krauthammer should listen to himself. Is he not amused? He blathers on as if the American public is too stupid to pay attention to what is happening.

Look at both parties. Millions of people have voted for these people. Maybe Krauthammer doesn’t understand what that sound is. We are tired of being talked down to. Mr Trump speaks bluntly. We too get angry and say stuff we’d like to take back. Maybe Krauthammer doesn’t, more power to him. That sound … freedom. Millions of people who are telling the party “leaders” to follow what we want, for a change. Quit talking politics and start leading.

Maybe Krauthammer would just like to forget what the people want. Let the party leaders decide this for us. Because we’re too stupid. A revolution is coming. Leave your condo. Eat at a McDonald’s. See what it’s like. Or maybe you’ll move to Canada like all the rest. Take your checkbook.
