In reference to your Saturday front-page picture and article, I would like to say good for Pinewood Elementary Principal Breeze Williams. (News article “Mom too hot for school”).
Someone needs to try to teach respect for rules to children, and if the parent doesn’t understand the dress code that states bare midriffs and spaghetti straps are not allowed, then I applaud the principal for pointing that out to her and asking her to leave. I’m sorry this mom is setting this type of example of “appropriate clothing” to wear in public to her daughter, rather than setting an example of respectful attire.
