When I read the headline, “Arlington’s Koster stepping down to lead small state agency,” in the July 21 Herald, the first thing that came into my mind was “I wonder what 18-year-old or even 15-year-old the Snohomish County Republican search committee will find to fill the vacancy?”
A president with no experience, a county councilman with no experience and now an opportunity for a state representative with no experience, and the beat goes on.
Gone are the days when experience and knowledge were required to get a job.
