In the July 15 Herald there were two front page headlines. One “Baby Orca Back among her clan” and one “School drug effort ended.” I am wondering how many millions of dollars were spent in just a short time to save the whale and never any mention about budget and how little priority we have to support a drug education program that has the potential of saving many kids’ lives. Are we letting our kids’ future go for lack of funds?
