In the beautiful Snohomish River Valley, the Harveys want to expand their airfield and the Skotdals want to build radio towers. If these are allowed it will be just the first step in the total industrialization of the valley. We will lose this fertile farmland and one of the last good fish-producing river systems to pavement and pollution. It will look like the Duwamish Valley, where the salmon return with a load of toxins they acquired when they were small.
Wealthy, powerful families should help us preserve these valleys, not initiate their destruction. The aircraft noise is horrible, it takes the serenity from our lives. The Harveys need to work on less noise, not more.
The Skotdals should put those antennas on their new building in Everett. Let history put you down as heroes, not villains. Please abandon these plans.
